We started WINESCAPE in 1998, seeing the internet as an ideal way to show off the superb range of wines that we have been shipping to supply the hotel and restaurant business since 1982. That range has now grown and developed as more vine growing countries are producing better and better wines. The established, "Old World" producers have responded with improvements in quality and value so there has never been such a good time to buy bargain wine online, or indeed cheap wine! We have continued to improve our service as well, Most deliveries now take place within 3 days, often overnight, and with this new, upgraded site, ordering has never been easier. But always remember if there are any problems call us on the old fashioned telephone. There are now 20 of us in the business, based at our warehouse in Liphook, Hampshire, all with the one aim of looking after the customer, provide excellent wines from interesting producers, at a great price, delivered when the customer needs them. The majority of our wine is imported directly by ourselves from trusted and lesser-known suppliers, therefore giving you the opportunity to try some amazing white wines at great prices. We currently have over 1000 wines listed and the list grows on a daily basis - we have Chardonnay from around the globe, Sauvignon blanc, White Rioja, Semillon, Riesling, Chenin blanc, Gewurtztraminer from Alsace, Champagne, Pinot Grigio (the new Chardonnay!) and, of course Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet from some of the best Chateau in Burgundy. |
